On Tuesday, Google unveils its 15th annual “Year in Search” list, providing a look at the people, places and topics that sent the world search for answers this past year.

The “year in Search” lists are Google’s annual look at the billions of searches performed throughout the year. So, which newsmakers and trends captured the imagination of the world in 2015?
