The Panama Papers: Feeling The Heat

Iceland’s Prime Minister has become the first casualty of the so-called “Panama Papers.” Sigmundur David Gunnlaugsson had been under intense pressure to resign since the leaked documents revealed his links to an offshore company, triggering mass protests in the capital

And elsewhere: In France, two members of far-right leader Marine Le Pen’s entourage allegedly moved hundreds of thousands of euros by way of offshore companies in recent years. In Britain, the PM Minister David Cameron’s feeling the heat, with opposition Labor party leader Jeremy Corbyn leading the call for an independent investigation into the tax affairs of those accused of wrongdoing.
