St Louis Cardinals Mascot Fredbird in Hot Water for Political Statement

ST LOUIS – St Louis Cardinals mascot, Fredbird, finds himself engulfed in controversy as he unwittingly held up a sign reading “Police Lives Matter.”

Fredbird has sparked a conversation that should have taken place in St Louis months ago and it is unsettling that the Cardinals franchise are not supporting their mascot. Even asking the St Louis Police Association to take the picture off their Facebook page.

Is stating that “Police Lives Matter” a political statement? Social Media and activists have pitted communities against the cops. You can no longer support cops because you are against the black community. You can’t support the black community because you are then supporting the cops.
