Pres. Obama Won’t Sign 9/11 Bill In Present Form

Saudi Arabia has already expressed its concern with the “9/11 Bill,” that would allow U.S. citizens, in U.S. courts, to sue that government for the alleged complicity of some of its members in the 9/11 attacks.

They’ve even threatened to dump $1 billion dollars of U.S. investment in fact. And President Obama, who has a tricky relationship with the Saudi’s as is (think nuke deal with Iran, Saudi Arabia’s arch-enemy), meets with them mid-week in Riyadh. Giving them more military weapons and firepower may not be a sufficient salve if the 9/11 bill gets his signature.
