Pence Wins VP Debate, Rubio Maturing, Trump V., Clinton Round Two

The Politically Incorrect Podcast has fun with a number of this weeks political topics

Steinberg looks at the vice presidential candidates’ debate -In terms of style, Republican Mike Pence was the clear winner of the Vice Presidential debate.  He performed smoothly, spoke in a relaxed manner with confidence, and appeared likable.  This was in stark contrast to Democrat Tim Kaine, who acted overly intense and interrupted far too often.

Yet there is no doubt today that Tim Kaine achieved his strategic objective:  discrediting Donald Trump.  He was highly successful at this, as Pence would simply deny Kaine’s allegations regarding Trump without offering any substantive defense.

The result:  Pence’s stylistic triumph has propelled him into the lead for the 2020 GOP presidential nomination.  By contrast, Kaine’s relentless, unrebutted attack on Trump will doubtless accelerate the free fall The Donald is experiencing in the various state polls. (Click here for more)

Jackson brings out the topic of Marco Rubio: A Hall Of Fame Talent

Instead, the decision concedes a tough reality for Democrats and, especially, their onetime takeover hopeful Patrick Murphy, the party-jumping, shape-shifting, résumé-padding, ambition-fueled Gold Coast congressman. Marco Rubio is poised to do to Jupiter’s Charlie Crist what he did to the original in 2010. (click here for more)

Meanwhile, Joe Henderson and Jim Williams are more than happy to offer debate pointers to both candidates get ready for Sunday’s Town Hall get together. No doubt the Trump and the Clinton camps are taking notes as both Henderson and Williams offer their priceless debate plans.
