UPDATED: Pasco County Looks to Close Loopholes on Child Molesters

PASCO – The county actually made it tougher on sex offenders to find a place to live a year ago when they increased the distance they must stay away from schools, playgrounds, parks, public libraries and anywhere children congregate from the state minimum 1 thousand feet to 25 hundred feet.

The new county law does not include sex offenders already living in the county and complying with the one thousand foot buffer or those whose crimes were a certain number of years ago and in another state.
