A new ABC News-Washington Post poll out Monday morning has the latest numbers for both the Democratic and Republican candidates for president in 2016. In addition to voting preferences, the poll asked respondents about various attributes they associated with the candidates, and those results provide even further insight to the challenges lying ahead for the individual candidates.
Meanwhile, President Obama heads to Des Moines for a town hall with students, and to announce how aspiring college students will now be able to apply for federal financial aid three months earlier than now and submit a previous year’s tax return, changes aimed at helping more people pay for school.
