NHTSA Scolds Americans for Dying in Defective Cars

WASHINGTON – National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has strong words for Americans that have not taken their car to a dealership on recall, “Get it fixed!” US Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx yelled.

Takata, BMW, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, Mazda, Nissan and Toyota don’t know how many of the 32 million cars currently driving on American roads have a defective airbag that will shoot shrapnel into the face of the drivers.

The responsibility of NHTSA and Honda have been called into question. Morality v Capitalism. Should they be allowed to sell defective parts at consumer risk? Basic math comes into play.
