Jury Deliberations Begin In James Holmes Trial

Three years after James Holmes allegedly gunned down 12 people in a Colorado movie theatre, and after an 11-week trial, a jury of mostly women (9 women and 3 men), is set to decide the 27-year-old’s fate. After hearing from experts who say he was say at the time and others who say we was not, they have to decide on 165 charges – most for murder and attempted murder. If the jury accepts defendant James Holmes’s insanity plea, Holmes will be sentenced to life in prison instead of death.
