Governor Rick Scott Wants $1B in Tax Cuts to “Put in Pockets” of Businessmen

TALLAHASSEE – Governor Rick Scott is pushing his $1 billion in tax cuts for business to try and create more jobs for the state of Florida.

“If we put more money in their pockets, they spend it on research, new equipment and hiring more jobs.” Governor Scott said. But he has already put hundreds of millions of Florida’s tax dollars into the pockets of his campaign contributors and all that has been created is minimum wage paying jobs.

The Governor refuses to acknowledge that not every job is a good job. He believes creating a job is all he has to do. With no standard in place, that is incredibly short sighted.
