Girl Scout Cookies Prices Going Up

After years of holding prices steady, more Girl Scout councils are making the decision to raise cookie prices to $5 a box, up from an average of $4. The reason, according to one council spokesperson, was that while the girls were selling plenty of cookies, their troops weren’t making enough money from the sales. With the price increase, the troops will now receive an average of 90 cents per box of, up from an average of 62 cents per box.
