DHS Prepares Series Of Raids For January

While this first broke late Christmas Eve, we figured it would be your first shot at talking about it. The Obama administration has confirmed that from October 2014 to September 2015, the U.S. deported the fewest immigrants since 2006, just under 240,000. Over the same period, over 300,000 people were arrested trying to cross the border illegally.

These numbers come on the heels of a report that beginning as soon as January, the DHS will conduct a series of raids that would target for deportation hundreds of families that have flocked to the U.S. since last year, primarily adults and children who have fled violence in Central America, but have already been ordered to leave the country but have thus far refused.

Needless to say, word of the plan has not been greeted warmly from liberal corners… where on the other side, Donald Trump has already taken credit for the project.
