Death Toll Rises, Search Continues In Multi-State Flood Zone

Against the backdrop of a forecast that calls for more rain, the search has resumed for the missing in areas of Texas and Oklahoma devastated by flooding in the past week. Houston’s mayor has requested a disaster declaration after heavy rains Monday night pushed bayous out of their banks and flooded freeways around the nation’s fourth-largest city.

At least ten people across the region have died in the flooding; many more than that if tornadoes along the Texas/Mexico border are taken into account. ABC’s Jim Ryan updates the story from Dallas/Fort Worth.
