Courtroom, Hero “Atticus Finch” Ultimately Became A Racist Bigot

The sequel for Harper Lee’s “To Kill A Mockingbird,” of which the manuscript appeared under interesting circumstances, and now goes on sale Tuesday, apparently shows an old and crusty Atticus Finch (the Gregory Peck character in the movie), who has spiraled down into a racist bigot. And finally, in the new book, “Go Set A Watchman,” little Scout, who when we left “Mockingbird” was full of respect and admiration for her father… well, by the time “Watchman”comes around, she’s sick and tired of him and his antics, and wants nothing to do with him.

Watching the movie may never be the same again. Scott hasn’t read the book, but has what the early reviews are saying.
