Bowe Bergdahl…According To Bowe Bergdahl

The podcast called “Serial” has debuted its second season with a bombshell: The first-person story of Bowe Bergdahl, the Army sergeant who’s facing a possible court-martial after walking away from his post in 2009 and falling into the hands of the Taliban.

In recorded conversations with a filmmaker, Bergdahl, who’s now on desk duty in Texas, says he was trying to bring world attention to leadership failures within the military.

ABC’s Jim Ryan is following the story in Dallas.
