Atari Games Found Buried in a Landfill

It was the stuff of console gamers’ legend: A place in the New Mexico desert where the once-mighty Atari had buried a cache of mint-condition copies of “E.T. The Extraterrestrial” and a host of other titles some three decades ago. There mere existence of the discarded relics of the 1980’s was a matter of debate, until a treasure-hunter digging at a landfill last year proved the rumors true. Now the man who made the discovery is reaping the profits.
