American Union Labor To Build Cars For Exporting

AM General has launched its Mercedes Benz R-Class assembly facility in Mishawaka, Indiana. It means that a foreign automaker will be counting on American Union labor to build vehicles to be exported to China.

The U.S. has set auto export records over the last three years. In 2014 more than 2 million American made vehicles were exported.

ABC’s Ryan Burrow was in Indiana for the launch.
