On Monday at 6:55 am, a dump truck fully loaded with dirt was traveling northbound on US Hwy 98 attempting to make a left turn onto westbound County Road 54 towards Zephyrhills.
The driver, 27-year-old Yunesky Sanderson, failed to negotiate the curve safely and as a result the load shifted.
The truck overturned onto its left side and the load of dirt spilled along the roadway.
All lanes of County Road 54 are closed pending the removal of the truck and dirt.
