MIAMI (AP) — Miami-Dade police are searching for man they say sexually assaulted a woman who had car trouble.
The attack happened early Sunday morning. Police say the woman was having car trouble as she drove on Interstate 95 in Miami. They say she left the interstate at Northwest 103rd Street and stopped her car on the side of the road.
The Miami Herald reports the 21-year-old woman was struck on the head as she checked the front of her car. She fell to the ground and police say the attacker punched her in the face several times and assaulted her.
The woman told police the man left in an older model black Honda with tinted windows.
Police ask that anyone with information about this crime to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
