Woman Sentenced For Shooting Boyfriend No Gun Found

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) _ A woman accused of shooting and killing her live-in boyfriend has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.

39-year-old Zandra Hatcher received the sentence Thursday after she pleaded no contest in the December 2014 shooting death of her live-in boyfriend for four months, Michael Gammage.

Investigators say questions remain in Gammage’s death, including the location of the gun and whether domestic violence plagued the couple’s relationship.

Medical examiners ruled out the possibility that Gammage may have shot himself.
