Will This Be The Year Of A Triple Crown Winner?

It has eluded 3-year-old thoroughbred race horses for more than a quarter century. The grueling test of three long races in a short five-week span, against the best horses in the country — the last to win all three affirmed in 1978.

Belmont Park will be packed with nearly 100,000 fans looking to see whether American Pharoah will be the next to make history. The horse has convincingly won both the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness. Will the mile and a half Belmont prove elusive, or will history be made?
