CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) _ A wildfire has shut down a busy highway that connects Florida’s Space Coast to Orlando.
State Road 528 was closed in both directions Tuesday afternoon between Cape Canaveral and Orlando after towers of smoke from a wildfire reduced visibility.
The toll road is the primary artery for travelers between the Kennedy Space Center and Orlando International Airport.
