White House Reacts To Federal Judge’s Immigration Reform Strikedown

The ruling by a Federal judge in Texas blocking President Obama’s executive action on immigration…at least temporarily…continues to reverberate in Washington. Of course, nobody in the White House is happy about it, and various cabinet officials in affected departments made that point on Tuesday. Of course, this is just another milepost on the road leading to the Supreme Court. And also on Tuesday, there is the matter of “What was Joe Biden saying to Ash Carter’s wife?” as the new Defense Secretary gave his swearing in speech. In other news, the White House summit on countering violent extremism enters Day 2. President Obama is expected to speak.
