White House Admits Higher Profile Should Have Attended Paris Rally

In a rare admission of error, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest admitted the White House should have sent a higher profile official, perhaps even President Obama himself, to the Paris rally against terrorism on Sunday. However, regarding what went into the decision and what the president was doing instead, well those details are so far no so forthcoming.

Earnest mentioned security concerns, but that was countered with the fact that other world leaders managed to attend.

As to what exactly President Obama was doing on Sunday, no word to this point. One thing the President will be doing Tuesday, is meeting with Congressional leaders, discussing if there is anything they can work out together as this new Congress kicks off.
