Weekend Weather Looks Great

Friday starts with some thick patches of fog mainly ENE of Tampa including the I4 corridor.  That fog will lift and burn off by 9 a.m.  Skies will start partly sunny then turn mostly cloudy as showers and storms begin to develop mainly lunch.  The rain coverage today will include inland areas and coastal areas and will peak from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The weekend is looking pretty good with only a 30% chance for rain Saturday afternoon and only 10% or less on Sunday, Father’s Day.  Highs will top out near 90 each day.

Today: Morning patches of fog, then partly cloudy through lunch.  Showers and storms will develop after 1 p.m and will be scattered across the area through 8 p.m.  Winds will be NE 10 mph with highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Tonight: Showers and storms end, skies turn partly cloudy.  Winds will be NE 5 mph with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Weekend: Partly cloudy with only a few showers 30% Saturday afternoon, while Sunday is even drier with only a 10% or less chance for rain.  Both days will top out near 90 with NE winds 15 mph.
