Job-seekers beware: There’s a new scam out there targeting you. ABC News correspondent Jim Ryan joins us at 6:55 to talk about this online job scam, which asks applicants to pay upfront fees in exchange for employment. The troubling news is that these fake jobs are often posted on legitimate job-seeking websites.

After a stunning upset, Eric Cantor announced yesterday that he was stepping down as House majority leader. We talk about how this impacts the Republican party.

We’ll be joined by ABC News White House Correspondent Ann Compton at 7:10 to talk about Canter’s decision to step down. She’ll also talk to us about Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel’s defense of the Taliban prisoner swap in exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.

We’ve been talking about the troubling story regarding two 12-year-old girls involved in the “Slenderman” stabbing. One of the girs will undergo a mental evaluation, which could raise the issue of competency. ABC News correspondent Scott Golberg joins us to talk about it.

On Wednesday, Al Qaeda-inspired militants conquered Saddam Hussein’s hometown of Tikrit, the second-largest city in Iraq. Soldiers and security forces abandoned their posts. ABC News correspondent Tom Rivers joins us at 8:25 with the latest.
