MIAMI LAKES, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott, Lt. Governor Lopez-Cantera and Stanley Tate met with families from the Miami area at Barbara Goleman Senior High School to discuss tuition and college affordability.
“We have to make college tuition more affordable,” said Governor Scott. This year we are working to not only make higher education accessible, but to also make it affordable for every family that dreams of sending their children to college. I want to get rid of the 15 percent annual increase and inflationary increase on tuition, so that more Floridians can afford to go to college and live the American Dream. My goal for tuition is simple, we must hold the line.”
