Confirmed: The Black Keys will hit this year’s Hangout Music Fest with fresh music in hand.
On Monday, the band released a new single, “Fever.” The track is fans’ first taste of a new studio album, the long-awaited follow-up to the band’s successful “El Camino,” released at the end of 2011. “El Camino” hit No. 2 on the Billboard pop chart, and yielded three Grammys, including two for the song “Lonely Boy.” (The group holds a total of seven Grammys, including one for guitarist Dan Auerbach’s work as a producer on projects by The Black Keys and others.)
