Video: Armed Robbery In South Tampa Pharmacy

Tampa police are seeking the public’s help in finding a suspect in an armed robbery at a South Tampa pharmacy.

Police say the suspect entered the Palm Plaza Pharmacy, 1155 S. Dale Mabry Hwy., Wednesday around 2:15 p.m., jumped the counter and held the employee at gunpoint.

The suspect took medications, the clerk’s wallet, phone and cash from the register before fleeing in a gold, small SUV, police say.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6 feet tall with a stocky, muscular build. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans, dark baseball cap, gloves, and a stocking over his face. He also was armed with a small revolver.
