UCLA Campus Flooded From Water Main Break

The UCLA campus was flooded Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. from a 93-year-old, 30-inch diameter water main that ruptured water 15 feet in the air, according to NBC 4.

“Unfortunately, UCLA was the sink for this water source,” said UCLA Chancellor Gene Block.

Although there were no injuries, the incident stranded cars, buses and drivers in several feet of fast-rising water and mud.
