Two People Robbed At Tampa ATM’s

At 10:34 PM on March 18, 2014, Ms. Apryl L. Bailey drove up to the Bank of America ATM machine located at 100 N. Westshore Blvd to withdraw money. While removing the money from the machine, a white male suspect approached and pointed a black handgun at her, snatched the money out of her hands, and told her to drive away. Ms. Bailey was not injured. The suspect fled in a black colored 2-door, sedan, driven by a second unidentified person.

Also, at 10:51 PM on March 18, 2014, Mr. Paul Guijarro drove up to the Bank of America drive-up ATM machine located at 3030 W. Kennedy Blvd to withdraw money. Upon entering his debit card and PIN number in the machine, he observed a black, 2 door, vehicle stop behind him in the ATM lane. Suspect #1 exited from the driver’s side of the vehicle and approached Mr. Guijarro, pointing a pistol at him and advising Mr. Guijarro to drive away. As Mr. Guijarro drove away, the suspect removed currency from the ATM machine and fled in a black 2-door, vehicle. Mr. Guijarro was not injured.

At this time, no arrests have been made. Bank of America security has been notified of the incidents and are working with police.

Suspect #1 has been described as a W/M 22-25 years of age, 5’9- 5’11, 150-180 lbs, black scarf over mouth, wearing dark plaid long sleeve shirt with jeans, darkski cap.

Suspect #2: W/F or W/M, wearing a black bandana tied around the head, brown fleece hoodie with hood over head.
