Two relatives in their 20s died when their pickup truck failed to make a curve and struck a tree Sunday night, police said.
Neither was reported to be wearing a seat belt.
About 8:30 p.m., the 2004 Dodge Ram pickup driven by David Alan Farmer, 25, of Largo was traveling north on Tall Pine Drive. It struck a tree just south of 138th Place N, authorities said.
Farmer was taken to Bayfront Medical Center, police said, where he died.
His passenger, Tamara Lynne Farmer, 27, of Largo died at the scene.
A traffic homicide investigation was under way.
