Two 17 Year Olds Charged in Crystal River Murder

A pair of 17 year olds face murder and robbery charges in the death of a man whose badly decomposed body was found in the backyard of a Crystal River home.

Authorities say Bryan Robinson and Tyzick Wall planned the slaying and robbery for weeks and then bragged about it to others after the crime.

Police believe the body found behind the North Griffith Avenue house is that of 54 year old Stephen Gorney, the homeowner who hasn’t been seen in weeks.

Robinson and Wall allegedly beat Gorney to death and then took a vehicle and cash from his home.

Gorney’s pick up truck was found in a nearby pond.
