HOUSTON (AP) – Three people have been taken to a Houston hospital after their flight from Tampa, Fla., hit severe turbulence over Louisiana.
Houston Airport Systems spokeswoman Darian Ward says the United Airlines flight landed safely in Houston early Wednesday.
She says three people were transported to a hospital but has no information on their conditions.
She says some others with minor injuries may have been treated at the scene.
Ward says the flight hit turbulence over Lake Charles, La.
It is not clear whether the turbulence was weather related.
