A new Quinnipiac University poll shows Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton still leading in their respective Florida presidential primaries, but there is some interesting drama in the general election here.
The poll has Trump with 28 percent, Ben Carson with 16 percent, Marco Rubio with 14 percent, and Jeb Bush with 12 percent among GOP voters.
On the Democratic side, Clinton has a big lead still over Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders with 43 percent of voter support.
But here’ where it gets interesting. Trump gets beaten in the general election by all three top Democrats, although the final percentages would be close.
The poll was done from September 25th to October 5th and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.
