Jury selection could take all week in the double murder trial of 35 year old Julian Ospina-Florez.
Ospina-Florez allegedly shot and killed Doctor Hector Rivera and his wife Debra at their Avila home three years ago.
Prosecutors say Ospina-Florez killed the couple after Debra Rivera accused him of stealing thousands of dollars worth of items from her jewelry business.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
