Three workers were injured in an explosion at the Lokey Mercedes Benz dealership in Clearwater this morning. One worker was seriously injured and was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, according to Bay News 9.
The dealership is located at 19820 U.S. 19 North. The event occured around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
With what information is available right now from Clearwater Fire & Rescue, it appears that the explosion occured in the repair area and involved a hydrolic lift and torch.
