Two explosions occurred at 2:50 PM near the Mandarin hotel in Boston, injuring at least 28 people and killing at least 2 at the final line of the Boston marathon on April 15. Police are suggesting that it may be a terrorist attack. Counter terrorism crews are currently being dispatched to the scene and Vice President Joe Biden called it a “bombing.”

The Boston Police Department told HollywoodLife.com, “There was a major explosion today at 2:50 EST. We do not have an official statement yet, but do know there were numerous injuries. We do not know if there were any fatal injuries at this time. We cannot at this time confirm if this was a terrorist attack. For updates please go to www.BPDNews.com.”
The blasts happened near the intersection of Boylston and Exeter streets — store fronts were blown out, and dozens of injuries have been reported. Some people were so bloody that they were taken to tents immediately to be treated.
“I saw people’s legs blown off. Horrific. Two explosions. Runners were coming in and saw unspeakable horror,” tweeted NECN reporter Jackie Bruno.
