Teen Siblings Convicted of Participating in Teens Death

OCALA, Fla. (AP) _ Two north Florida teen siblings have been convicted of participating in a teen’s slaying.

Though tried together, separate Marion County juries found 16-year-old Amber Wright and 17-year-old Kyle Hooper both guilty Tuesday of first-degree murder.

The brother and sister are two of five people accused in the April 2011 death of 15-year-old Seath Jackson.

Authorities say Jackson was lured to a Summerfield home, where he was beaten, tied up and shot.

Arrest reports say Jackson’s body was burned, and his remains were placed into buckets and tossed into a lime pit.

Last fall, 19-year-old Charlie Kay Ely, received a life sentence, and 21-year-old Justin Soto received the same sentence last month.

Still facing a first-degree murder charge is 20-year-old Michael Bargo, who authorities identified as the shooter.
