A USF student is in critical condition after she was hit by a car near campus Thursday morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of 50th Street and Sun Ridge Palms Drive.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Elizabeth Courtney, 19, was crossing 50th Street, about 30 yards south of a crosswalk, when she was hit by a Nissan Altima driving southbound from Fletcher.
She was taken to Tampa General Hospital.
