USF Football TV Show #BayMade Becomes Finalist For National Award

The University of South Florida football program’s television show has been announced as a national finalist by the Sports Video Group (SVG) and National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) for outstanding production.

#BayMade: Inside USF Football debuted in 2014 and had been selected an SVG/NACDA College Sports Media Awards finalist for the second time in three years. The 30-min program gives an inside look at the USF football program with NFL Films style camera work, sound and unprecedented access to practices, locker room, game day as well as daily life.

Produced by Emmy Award-winning production team of Awesome Films, fans got a look at the new Charlie Strong era at USF.

“This year’s College Sports Media Awards Finalists represent an ever-rising bar of excellence in the college sports production industry,” says Tom Buffolano, Chairman of the SVG/NACDA College Sports Media Awards, said in a statement released by the school. “The competitive pool keeps getting deeper, and college productions must become more creative in the way they tell a story, whether it is a live game or profile. The proliferation of coverage of events like Signing Day showcase the growing fan interest in all things college sports.”
