Three people were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide Saturday in New Tampa, and it appears as if they were shot, deputies said.
The three individuals were identified as Bessie Kefalas, 85, Sofia Kefalas, 52, and Vasilios Tsioros, 66, but the medical examiner has yet to come back with an official cause of death. Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Debbie Carter said a gun was found at the scene.
The bodies were found when a co-worker of one of the deceased went to visit the home. The co-worker saw the bodies through the window. Bessie Kefalas was the mother-in-law of the two others, deputies said.
