Sarasota Police Officers are investigating a single-vehicle crash with fatalities that occurred at approximately 3 am near the intersection of Old Bradenton Road and DeSoto Road in Sarasota.
At this time, three victims are deceased and a fourth victim has been transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive.
It’s unknown what caused the crash however Officers do believe speed was a factor. It’s unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs were a factor.
The victims are all 21-years-old. Wesley C. McCurley from Sarasota, MIchael Duffy from Sarasota and Dane Custer from Bradenton. The survivor’s name is not known yet.
