The incident occurred at the Sunco gas station at 6211 Dale Mabry Hwy N. at about 2:02 a.m. Sunday.
The suspect pointed a black handgun at the cashier and demanded money. The suspect was captured on surveillance video wearing a black jacket, blue shirt with white lettering, blue jeans and a dark beanie.
He fled the area on foot towards the Coopers Pond Apartment complex.
A witness positively identified 21-year-old Levi Hilliard as the suspect. Hilliard was subsequently located inside his residence at 3601 Coopers Pond Drive. Hilliard was arrested for Armed Robbery with a Weapon and Grand Theft.
