St. Pete Protected Their City, Hurt Bay Region on Rays

TAMPA BAY – On Thursday night the St. Petersburg Council voted and vetoed the Tampa Bay Rays stadium deal.

The Council was extremely upset that they were not given a seat at the negotiating table when the Rays and Mayor Rick Kriseman sat down.

This move makes Kriseman look like a poor leader and will likely lead to more national media headlines by Rays principle owner Sternberg chastising the region.
