Tampa: Schools Off Lockdown After Robbery

Tampa Police are searching for two suspects that robbed the Family Dollar located at 5100 North Florida Avenue in Tampa.

According to police, one of them had a wig and one was wearing a Halloween mask. Police arrived to see the two fleeing on foot. Police say they both walked into Family Dollar and demanded money at gunpoint.

Police were able to catch one of the suspects upon arrival and are now questioning him.

Police have set up a perimeter and three schools were placed on lockdown: Hillsborough High School, Memorial Middle School and Seminole Elementary. Hillsborough High School and Memorial Middle have since been taken off lockdown.

Police say they have found a bag in the area containing an air pistol and Halloween costumes.
