According to Winter Haven police, it all started when a resident in the Winter Ridge subdivision off Lucerne Park Rd. found the suspect inside his vehicle at 7 a.m. Friday. The victim took a picture of the suspect before he was able to flee on foot and then called police.
He is wearing a black and white long-sleeved Adidas jacket with dark long pants.
Anyone who can assist police in identifying this suspect is asked to call Detective Katherine Prue at 863-291-5858 or call Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
