Florida public school grades are out. There are fewer A and F-rated schools statewide, and more B, C, and D campuses than last year. Officials say a tougher grading formula on the new standardized test is the reason for so many grade changes.

Florida U.S. Congresswoman Corrine Brown, indicted for fraud, theft, and conspiracy. The 5th District Democrat ouf of Jacksonville allegedly set up a fake charity that was touted to give scholarships to poor students, but she diverted the money to herself.

Florida Democrats pick their 135 delegates to the Democratic National Convention this weekend. Since Hillary Clinton won the Florida primary, most of those delegates will vote for her but some could still go for Bernie Sanders.

Disney is becoming the groping capital of the world. Days after a 27 year old man was arrested for grabbing at half a dozen people in the Typhoon Lagoon water park, another man, 26 year old Nicholas Groth, a youth baseball coach from Wisconsin, has been arrested for groping three children at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.

57 year old Gloria Coffman, arrested for exposing herself to three children, ages 6-10-and 13 at a South Belcher Road apartment complex swimming pool in Largo. Witnesses say Coffman deliberately opened her robe, showing her breasts and genitals to the kids. They say it’s not the first time she’s done it.

A construction worker plunges to his death from a Longboat Key building. Officials say the man was 30 feet up on a scaffold at Beach Walk Condominiums when he lost his footing and fell. OSHA is investigating.

A Cooper City woman and her young grandson are OK after their car went into a hole that suddenly opened up in front of them as they drove through the parking lot of a fast food restaurant. The front of the car ended up in the water-filled hole while the rear end was sticking up in the air. Rain and construction are blamed for causing the hole.
