Pasco Substitute Teacher Arrested

A Pasco County substitute teacher has been arrested on multiple counts of lewd and lascivious behavior.

According to Pasco deputies, 68-year-old Roy Danny Wingo of 6028 Corson Ave., New Port Richey, is accused of molesting two victims more than 50 times, the last occurrence being in 2012. Wingo was arrested Friday on charges of lewd and lascivious molestation and lewd and lascivious battery.

The victims were between the ages of 11-15 and 8-9 during the alleged molestation.

Wingo has been fired by the school board. He was booked into the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center with no bond.
