LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) _ Firefighters say nine cats died in a mobile home fire in Lakeland.
The home was fully engulfed in flames when crews from the Lakeland Fire Department arrived Sunday afternoon. Two residents were able to get out of the home, but there wasn’t time to save their cats.
Crews were able to stop the flames from spreading to nearby homes.
